ABEOKUTA – The Ogun State Chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) has extended its heartfelt congratulations to His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Adédotun Aremu Gbadébò III, the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, on the celebration of his 20th year on the throne.
In a statement released to commemorate the monarch’s landmark anniversary, the association lauded the Kabiyesi’s reign, describing it as a period characterised by exceptional wisdom, stability, and peace.
ALGON further highlighted the Alake’s “unwavering commitment to the growth and unity of Egbaland and Ogun State at large,” noting that his leadership has been a source of inspiration, fostering cultural pride and progressive development among the people.
The statement, signed by the Executive Chairman of ALGON in Ogun State and Chairman of Odeda Local Government, Hon. Dr Folasade Waliat Adeyemo, expressed the body’s delight in celebrating the monarch’s enduring legacy.
“The entire body of ALGON, Ogun State Chapter, heartily congratulates His Imperial Majesty on the remarkable celebration of 20 years on the throne of your forefathers,” the statement read.
It concluded with prayers for the continued prosperity and harmony of Egbaland under his reign, stating, “We pray that your reign continues to bring prosperity, harmony, and greater achievements to Egbaland.”
