Abeokuta – The Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) has held an extended State Executive Meeting at its newly renovated secretariat in Abeokuta, marking a significant milestone in the association’s commitment to progress and unity.

The meeting, presided over by AMORAN’s State Chairman, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, brought together key stakeholders from across Ogun State to deliberate on critical issues affecting motorcycle riders and explore ways to enhance their welfare and public perception.

The refurbished secretariat, now equipped with modern facilities and an improved aesthetic, served as a fitting venue for the discussions. Members expressed appreciation for the administration’s efforts in upgrading the association’s headquarters, describing it as a testament to AMORAN’s growth and dedication to excellence.

During the meeting, executives reviewed the association’s recent achievements, including advocacy for riders’ rights, safety initiatives, and community engagement programs. Otunba Sokoya emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration, urging members to work together in advancing AMORAN’s objectives.

*”This secretariat is more than just a building; it symbolizes our collective resolve to elevate the standards of motorcycle operations in Ogun State,”* Sokoya stated. *”With this renewed space, we are better positioned to strategize, innovate, and serve our members effectively.”*

Key agenda items included regulatory compliance, rider safety measures, and plans for expanded training programs to promote professionalism among members. Attendees also discussed upcoming projects aimed at fostering stronger relationships with government agencies and the public.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to driving positive change within the motorcycle-riding community. Members expressed optimism that the secretariat’s transformation would inspire further developments in AMORAN’s operations across the state.

With a revitalized leadership approach and an upgraded operational base, AMORAN is set to usher in a new era of progress for motorcycle riders in Ogun State.
