Chief Idowu Olude, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Obafemi Owode Local Government, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Amb. Adesina ‘Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA, Executive Chairman of Obafemi Owode Local Government, on the successful completion of his first 100 days in office during his second term.
In a statement issued today, Chief Olude commended Ogunsola for his remarkable achievements and impactful projects executed within the short period since assuming office for his second term. Despite the challenges posed by the non-implementation of local government autonomy, Ogunsola has championed numerous laudable initiatives across the 12 wards of the council area.
Among the notable projects highlighted by Chief Olude are the ongoing refurbishment of the Legislative Chamber to enhance the performance of the Legislative Council, the distribution of 1,500 free exercise books to public primary schools, and the grading and rehabilitation of roads across towns and villages within the local government. Additionally, Ogunsola facilitated the free distribution of over 3,000 gas cylinders to vulnerable women, many of whom still rely on firewood and charcoal for cooking, thereby reducing health risks associated with inhaling carbon dioxide.
Chief Olude expressed his confidence in Ogunsola’s leadership, urging residents and indigenes of Obafemi Owode Local Government to continue supporting the APC and the Ogunsola-led administration. “Hon. Amb. Ogunsola is capable of leading the people of Obafemi Owode to our promised land,” he stated.
He also extended gratitude to Ogun State Governor, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for his unwavering support and endorsement of Ogunsola’s second term. “His Excellency’s magnanimity has been a blessing to Obafemi Owode Local Government, and we pray for continuous growth in Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole,” Chief Olude added.
In conclusion, Chief Olude congratulated Hon. Amb. Adesina ‘Lanre Ogunsola on his 100 days in office, praising his dedication and commitment to the development of Obafemi Owode Local Government.
