The withdrawal follows an intervention by stakeholders in the music industry and other prominent figures, who appealed for peace between the parties involved. The nominal complainant, Okunola Saheed Osupa, through his legal representatives, Opalekunde & Co., officially filed for the discontinuation of the case, stating that the matter had been resolved amicably.
In a letter addressed to the court, the solicitors confirmed their client’s instruction to withdraw the charges in the interest of public harmony.
