Breaking: President Tinubu Meets Lagos Lawmakers in Closed-Door Session at Aso Rock

President Bola Tinubu is currently holding a closed-door meeting with key lawmakers from Lagos State, including the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudasiru Obasa, and newly elected Speaker Mojisola Meranda. The high-level discussions are taking place at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The lawmakers arrived at Aso Rock in a Coaster bus shortly after 2:00 pm (local time) on Wednesday. Security officials promptly escorted them into the President’s office complex. While Speaker Meranda arrived alongside her colleagues, Speaker Obasa made a separate entrance at approximately 3:00 pm.

The agenda of the meeting has not been disclosed, but it is believed to focus on critical issues affecting Lagos State and the nation at large. This gathering underscores the ongoing collaboration between the federal government and state leaders to address pressing governance and developmental challenges.

Details of the discussions are expected to be made public following the conclusion of the meeting.
