Dr. Samson Adeola Odedina, the former Commissioner for Agriculture in Ogun State and former Provost of the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure, has extended his congratulations to Comrade Omoyofunmi Segun Henry on his appointment as the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development in Ondo State.
In a statement, Dr. Odedina, on behalf of his family, expressed his heartfelt congratulations, describing the appointment as well-deserved. He noted that the appointment was “no surprise,” as Comrade Henry had “consistently exemplified purposeful leadership right from your days as SUG President at the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure.”
Dr. Odedina highlighted his long-standing connection to the institution where he had “the privilege of studying, serving as an NYSC member, lecturing, and eventually becoming Provost.” He added that Comrade Henry’s journey has “continued to inspire those of us who witnessed your dedication from the beginning.”
Concluding his message, Dr. Odedina expressed his pride in celebrating Comrade Henry as “one of our own” and offered a prayer for divine guidance and strength in his new role. “May God continue to strengthen and guide you as you serve the youth and contribute meaningfully to the growth of Ondo State,” he wrote.
