Ifo – The Executive Chairman of Ifo Local Government, Honourable Idris Olalekan Kusimo, has expressed profound gratitude to His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, the Executive Governor of Ogun State, for his recent inspection of ongoing road construction projects in Ifo Constituency 2.
In a statement released to the press, the Chairman commended the Governor’s commitment to transforming the infrastructure of Ifo Local Government. He highlighted the completion of the Alagbole-Akute road and the nearing completion of the Ajuwon-Akute road, slated for February 2025.
The Chairman also appreciated the Governor’s emphasis on community ownership and maintenance of the Giwa-Herculis road, noting that the call for residents to take pride in their infrastructure is a welcome initiative. He further commended the ban on waste disposal at the existing cesspool in Hercules as a significant step toward environmental preservation.
The Chairman expressed gratitude for the Governor’s tireless efforts to address long-standing challenges, particularly regarding road infrastructure. He noted that the Sango-Ijoko road project, which will be divided into two sections of 8 kilometres each, is a significant undertaking that will greatly benefit the Ifo community.
The Chairman concluded by expressing sincere appreciation for Governor Abiodun’s leadership and vision, stating that his administration’s commitment to the welfare and development of Ogun State is inspiring.
