Ijebu North East LG Chairman,Badejo Appoints Supervisory Councillors, Special Advisers

In a move aimed at strengthening governance and driving development, the Chairman of Ijebu North East Local Government, Hon. Folusho Joseph Badejo, has announced the appointment of five Supervisory Councillors and four Special Advisers.

The newly appointed Supervisory Councillors are:
1. Mr. Odulana Ayobami Oduntan
2. Mr. Emmanuel Obasola Abayomi
3. Mr. Wale Olusegun Idowu
4. Mr. Oside Olalekan Felix
5. Mr. Akinsanya Koleowo Olaitan

The four Special Advisers appointed are:
1. Comr. Otubanjo Ayodele Olalekan
2. Hon. Disu Olalekan Maruf
3. Mr. Adelaja Francis Awojide
4. Mr. Odufowokan Sunday Olufunsho

The appointments are part of the administration’s commitment to the IREDE Agenda, which mirrors the ISEYA mantra of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, the Governor of Ogun State. The IREDE Agenda focuses on infrastructure, rural development, education, and economic empowerment, among other key areas.

Hon. Badejo expressed confidence in the appointees’ abilities to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the local government. He emphasized that the appointments reflect the administration’s dedication to inclusivity, good governance, and progressive leadership.

“Their wealth of experience and dedication will further enhance our efforts to deliver the dividends of democracy across all ten wards of Ijebu North East Local Government,” he stated.

The Chairman called on residents to support the new appointees as they work tirelessly to advance the local government’s development goals.

The appointments take immediate effect.
