ABEOKUTA – The Ogun State Chapter of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners & Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) has joined the nation in marking Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, extending felicitations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dapo Abiodun.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the State Chairman, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, described the anniversary as a “significant milestone for national reflection and renewed hope.” He offered prayers for divine wisdom and guidance for the leaders at both federal and state levels.
The statement also commended AMORAN members across the state for their resilience and law-abiding conduct as vital contributors to the transportation sector.
Highlighting the occasion, Otunba Sokoya expressed the association’s strong backing for Governor Abiodun’s administration. He specifically praised the upcoming commencement of Value Jet Airline’s commercial flights from Ogun State to Abuja, labelling it a landmark achievement.
“The entire membership of AMORAN in Ogun State is solidly behind Your Excellency,” the statement read. “The launch of Value Jet services is a testament to your visionary leadership and commitment to building a thriving, multi-modal economy. We are proud of this progress and assure you of our continued support and cooperation.”
The Chairman described the new air route as a project that will boost economic activities, create jobs, and elevate Ogun State’s status as a key investment destination.
He concluded by urging all citizens to keep faith with the nation and support the government’s efforts toward building a more secure, united, and prosperous Nigeria.
