The Executive Chairman of Ipokia Local Government, Hon. Johnson Akohomeh Avoseh, today inspected the ongoing construction of a new commercial hub in Vawhe Tafa, a project aimed at boosting economic activities in the community.
Accompanied by the Vice-Chairman, Hon.Mrs. Olufunmilayo Okewole, and the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Babajide Johnson Olushola, the chairman assessed the progress of the facility, which includes 20 open stalls and two toilet units designed to enhance sanitation and convenience for traders and customers.
During the inspection, Hon. Avoseh engaged with community leaders and stakeholders, reiterating his administration’s commitment to grassroots development. He emphasized that the project aligns with the state government’s *”Building Our Future Together”* Agenda (I.S.E.Y.A), particularly in infrastructure and social well-being.
“The completion of this market will not only stimulate commerce but also foster social interaction, improving the quality of life for our people,” Hon. Avoseh stated. He urged residents of Vawhe Tafa to support the initiative, describing it as a vital step toward sustainable community empowerment under the leadership of His Excellency, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun, CON.
