Ipokia – In a decisive move to enhance learning conditions across the region, the Executive Chairman of Ipokia Local Government, Hon. Johnson Akohomeh Avoseh, led a high-powered delegation on an inspection tour of ongoing educational infrastructure projects. The initiative underscores the administration’s commitment to delivering on its campaign promises and aligning with Governor Dapo Abiodun’s ISEYA development agenda for Ogun State.

Accompanied by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Mrs. Olufunmilayo Okewole, the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Johnson Olushola Babajide, as well as Special Advisers and Supervisors, Hon. Avoseh assessed the progress of critical projects aimed at revitalizing schools in the area. Key sites visited include:

– The construction of a three-classroom block at Community Primary School, Akopin Kojola
– A new three-classroom block at IPLG Primary School, Maun I
– The renovation of a two-classroom block at Community Primary School, Idabata
– The renovation of a two-classroom block at Community Primary School, Iguu

During the tour, Hon. Avoseh reiterated his administration’s dedication to providing conducive learning environments for pupils. “Our mission is clear—to ensure that every school in Ipokia Local Government is equipped with modern facilities that foster quality education. These projects reflect our resolve to uphold the vision of His Excellency, Governor Dapo Abiodun, CON, whose ISEYA initiative continues to drive transformative development across Ogun State,” he stated.

The projects are part of a broader effort to upgrade educational infrastructure, ensuring that schools are furnished with contemporary resources to enhance teaching and learning outcomes. The inspection also served as an opportunity to evaluate further needs and plan additional interventions.

The Ipokia Local Government Media Team confirmed that the projects are progressing on schedule, with completion expected to significantly benefit students and teachers in the affected communities.
