The Executive Chairman of Odeda Local Government, Hon. (Dr.) Waliat Folasade Adeyemo, received a courtesy visit from the divisional officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Odeda Division, led by CSC Olubiyi Modinat, on Monday, January 20, 2025.
During the visit, Hon. Dr. Adeyemo expressed her delight in receiving the NSCDC team and apologized for the delayed visit. She assured the guests of her readiness to provide solutions for mobilization and office space within the Local Government Secretariat, enabling the NSCDC to discharge their duties efficiently.
CSC Olubiyi Modinat congratulated Hon. Dr. Adeyemo on her re-election as Chairman and highlighted the challenges faced by the agency, particularly in mobilization. She requested office space within the Local Government Secretariat and assured that NSCDC officers would be available for government functions within the Local Government.
The Head of Local Government Administration, Dr. Adekoya Olusoji, reassured the agency that their request would be promptly addressed.
The visit was attended by top officials, including the newly sworn-in Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Oyekunle Adebayo, and top officers of NSCDC Odeda Division.
