Obafemi Owode Council Boss Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Fitr

The Executive Chairman of Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Adesina Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful in the council area and beyond as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

In his goodwill message, Ogunsola expressed gratitude to Allah for granting Muslims the strength and devotion to complete the 30-day fasting period in accordance with Islamic teachings. He urged the Muslim community to uphold the virtues of discipline, perseverance, and piety cultivated during Ramadan in their daily lives.

“As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, I extend my heartfelt felicitations to the good people of Obafemi Owode Local Government, especially our Muslim brothers and sisters who faithfully observed the Ramadan fast,” the chairman stated.

He added, “May this joyous occasion strengthen our bond with the Almighty, promote unity, peace, and prosperity in our society, and fill our hearts with love, compassion, and kindness.”

Ogunsola further prayed that Allah accepts their fasting, prayers, and good deeds while granting them the grace to pursue excellence in all endeavours.

He concluded by wishing Muslims a celebration filled with happiness, laughter, and enduring love.

The message was officially signed and released by the chairman’s office on Sunday, March 30, 2025.
