OBAFEMI OWODE LG: AMB. OGUNSOLA INAUGURATES SUPERVISORS, SPECIAL ADVISERS, TASKS THEM ON IMPROVING IGR

The Executive Chairman of Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Adesina Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA, has inaugurated newly appointed Supervisors and Special Advisers in a ceremony held at the Local Government Secretariat, Owode-Egba.

During the swearing-in, Amb. Ogunsola charged the appointees to view their appointments as a call to service and urged them to bring forth innovative ideas to enhance the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of the council. He emphasized the need for the new officials to align with the party’s manifesto and support the agenda of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, in delivering quality democratic dividends to the people of Ogun State.

The Council Boss reiterated that the appointments were aimed at strengthening governance and improving service delivery to the residents of Obafemi Owode Local Government. He expressed gratitude to Governor Dapo Abiodun for the opportunity to serve at the grassroots level and assured that his administration would continue to execute impactful programs to foster collaboration between the local government and the state.

Amb. Ogunsola also highlighted ongoing projects, including the rehabilitation of the Legislative Chamber, construction of classrooms in Maba, reconstruction of the Secretariat Road in Owode, sinking of a motorized borehole in Derupatan Ajebo Ward, distribution of writing materials to public primary schools, and continuous road grading across all 12 wards of the local government. He promised that more projects would be unveiled soon.

Speaking on behalf of the appointees, Hon. Emmanuel Adeola thanked Governor Dapo Abiodun for the opportunity to serve and expressed appreciation to Amb. Ogunsola for his trust in their capabilities. He pledged their unwavering loyalty and commitment to the success of the administration.

The event marked a significant step in the local government’s efforts to enhance governance and drive development in Obafemi Owode.
