The Executive Chairman of Odeda Local Government Area, Hon. Folasade Adeyemo, PhD, has congratulated the newly elected local government party executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the area, describing their emergence as a victory for unity and progressive politics.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Hon. Adeyemo confirmed that Hon. Musulumi Saka will lead the new executive committee, which was elected to steer the affairs of the party for the next four years. She noted that the congress was conducted peacefully and transparently across the local government.
The Chairman commended party faithful for their orderly conduct throughout the exercise, praising the seamless process as a reflection of the strength and cohesion of the APC family in Odeda Local Government.
“The peaceful atmosphere that prevailed during the congress reflects the maturity and dedication of our party members. I commend everyone who participated in this process for upholding the values of our great party,” she stated.
Hon. Adeyemo also used the occasion to express appreciation to the Governor of Ogun State and leader of the party, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for his unwavering leadership and commitment to grassroots development within the party structure.
She urged the newly elected executives to remain loyal and faithful to the All Progressives Congress while working diligently to advance the party’s interests at the local government level.
“As you assume this responsibility, I encourage you to remain loyal to our party and work in harmony with all stakeholders to strengthen our great party, the APC, in Odeda Local Government,” she added.
The new executive committee is expected to immediately set to work consolidating the party’s presence and mobilizing support across Odeda Local Government Area.
