Abeokuta – The lawmaker representing Abeokuta North, Obafemi-Owode, and Odeda Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Olumide Osoba, has commenced the distribution of food items to residents across all wards in his constituency.
The exercise, which targets both Muslim and Christian faithful observing the Ramadan fast and the Lenten season, is being carried out in alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Ward Outreach Initiative.
Officials overseeing the distribution confirmed that the intervention is designed to provide relief to families during the respective periods of religious observance. By delivering food supplies to communities across the three local government areas, the program aims to ease economic pressure on constituents while fostering unity at the grassroots level.
Beneficiaries who received the grains lauded the lawmaker for the gesture, noting that the outreach has become a consistent feature of his representation during significant religious and national holidays.
