The State Chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN), Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, has commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for his impactful governance over the past six years, coinciding with the governor’s 65th birthday.

In a press statement issued on Wednesday, Sokoya highlighted Abiodun’s dedication to transforming Ogun State through infrastructural development, economic growth, and improved welfare for residents. He noted that the governor’s achievements in his first term earned him widespread support, leading to his re-election in 2023.

Sokoya listed several landmark projects executed under Abiodun’s administration, including:
– Dualisation of the Ijebu-Ode-Epe Road, enhancing connectivity between Ogun and Lagos States.
– Rehabilitation of the Abeokuta-Siun-Sagamu Expressway, improving transportation and commerce.
– Near completion of the Agro-Cargo International Airport, set to boost agro-business and create jobs.
– Establishment of Nigeria’s first rapid diagnostic test production facility, advancing healthcare delivery and many more.

The AMORAN chairman urged residents and stakeholders to rally behind the governor to sustain developmental strides. He emphasized that collective efforts would position Ogun as Nigeria’s leading state by 2027 when Abiodun’s tenure concludes.

“Governor Abiodun has demonstrated exceptional leadership, and we must support him to ensure Ogun State reaches greater heights,” Sokoya stated.

Sokoya also extended warm wishes to the governor on his 65th birthday, describing him as a visionary leader committed to the state’s progress.

“On behalf of AMORAN and the people of Ogun State, I wish His Excellency a joyous birthday and a successful anniversary celebration. May his legacy of development continue to flourish,” he added.

Governor Abiodun’s administration has been widely praised for its focus on infrastructure, agriculture, and industrialization, reinforcing Ogun’s status as an emerging economic hub in Nigeria.
