Ifo, Ogun State – In a significant move to bolster his administration and enhance service delivery, the Executive Chairman, Ifo Local Government, Hon. Idris Olalekan Kusimo, has officially sworn in the newly appointed Supervisors and Special Advisers. The ceremony, held at the Local Government Secretariat on Monday, March 10, 2025 underscores the Chairman’s unwavering commitment to effective governance and grassroot development.
Hon. Kusimo commended His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON the Executive Governor of Ogun State for his developmental initiatives aimed at uplifting the living standard of residents of the State. He charged the appointees to view their new roles as a call to service, emphasizing the importance of dedication, integrity, and excellence in the discharge of their duties. He urged them to prioritize the welfare of the people and work tirelessly to bring about positive change in the Local Government.
The Chairman who emphasized the importance of teamwork and collaboration, administered the oat of allegiance and oat of office on the appointees who were charged to work diligently to uplift the Local Government to achieve his dream for the Council Area. The Council boss thereafter, announced the portfolios of each of the appointees.

The Supervisors inaugurated are, Mr. Olutayo Johnson Oluwaseyi as the Supervisor for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Mr. Adeshina Adesuyi,
Supervisor for Community and Social Development, Mr. Wale Craig, Supervisor for Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation, Mr. Seyi Ijale as Supervisor for Health Services while Hon. Olanrewaju Adeleye was sworn in as the Supervisor for Education, Information, and Sports.
Special Advisers are, Mr. Deji Obadina, Special Adviser on Works and Housing, Hon. Jelili Oyatope, Special Adviser on Special Duties, Hon. Akogun Oladapo, Special Adviser on Revenue Generation Management and Hon. Tunde Adisa as Special Adviser on Youth Engagement and Empowerment.
In a related development, the Chairman also appointed Hon. Oladimeji Jamiu Ibrahim as His Personal Assistant on Media And Publicity, while Hon. Olanrewaju Taofeekat Falowo was appointed as the Special Adviser to the Chairman.
He congratulated all appointees and appealed to them to discharge their duties with diligence and commitment to the progress of the Local Government.
The event was attended by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Abibat Ojo, the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Samuel Bamgboye, Councillors, Secretary to the Local Government, Mrs. Temitope Adegboyega and the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Fatai Ogundele as well as Directors and Heads of various Departments.
Other esteemed attendees include Hon. Oluomo Taiwo, former Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Engr. Saheed Ariori, Hon. Ganiu Alani Oyedeji, Hon. Fola Fatiu Salami, member, Ogun State House of Assembly representing Ifo Constituency II, Hon. Wole Enilolobo, Hon. Abayomi Collins, Hon. Prince Bola Adeyemi, Alhaji Adebeshin, Aare Tunde Alabi, Chief Joju Fadairo, Hon. Moruf Paramole, Hon. John Fatoki, Hon. Obadina, Barrister Olumide Oluwole, Chief Derin Adebiyi, Pastor Mathew Oladele, Chief Taiwo Muraina, and Barrister Kunle Adeyemi.
