Hon. Kehinde Ayodeji Bello has officially assumed his role as the new General Manager of the Ogun State Environmental Protection Agency (OGEPA).
He takes over the leadership of the agency from the immediate-past boss, Hon. Farouk Akintunde.



In an address to the management and staff, the new GM charged the team with greater dedication and professionalism. He emphasized the pivotal role OGEPA plays in safeguarding the environment and ensuring public health.
“Together, we will be a game changer in the management of the environment,” Hon. Bello stated. He urged staff to adhere strictly to environmental impact assessment indices to provide a cleaner and safer environment for the people.
He assured the employees of qualitative leadership during his tenure, maintaining that “a clean environment naturally would breed healthy people.”
Hon. Kehinde Bello, a native of Ijebu-Imushin in Ijebu-East Local Government Area, is described as a cerebral businessman with a track record of successfully managing human and capital resources. He is expected to bring his wealth of knowledge and experience to the administration of OGEPA.
The new GM holds board positions on companies within Nigeria and abroad. He attended Moslem Primary School and St. Anthony Grammar School in Ijebu-Imushin before obtaining degrees from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, and Wescliff University in California, USA.
