IJEBU NORTH EAST – The Chairman of Ijebu North East Local Government, Honourable Folusho Badejo, was presented with a prestigious Award of Excellence on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in recognition of his impactful leadership and significant contributions to the development of the area.
The award was conferred by the Zonal Community Development Council, Ijebu North East Chapter, during a ceremony that highlighted the Chairman’s dedication to infrastructural and communal progress.
Arc. Ranti Oresile, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Community Development, who spoke on behalf of the community, praised Hon. Badejo’s “laudable efforts.” He described the honour as well-deserved and called on residents to take ownership of completed projects.
“Proper maintenance is key to sustainability,” Arc. Oresile stated, adding that such responsibility “would encourage leaders to do even more.”
The event was attended by community leaders and members, who expressed their warm appreciation for the Chairman’s presence and his administration’s work.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Badejo expressed profound gratitude for the recognition, stating that he holds the Community Development Council in high esteem.
He further pledged his unwavering support to the Council and reaffirmed his “commitment to the continued growth and development of Ijebu North East Local Government.”
