The Peoples Democratic Party Governorship candidate in Ogun state, Hon Oladipupo Adebutu has congratulated all party faithful in the state following yesterday historic judgement of the Court of Appeal sitting in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital which set aside the order of a High Court making Sen. Buruji Kashamu candidate.

Ladi AdebutuAdebutu, who doubles as the Chairman, House of Representatives committee on rural development said it is pertinent to note that his victory at the appellate court should be dedicated to the Almighty God, and more importantly every member of the party who have been very consistent and unshaken in their belief that the Alhaji Sikirullahi Ogundele led party in the state would lead the Governorship candidate to the state number one seat in 2019.

He also hails the Judiciary for the unanimous judgement, as he described the appellate court as truly the last hope of the common man.

The Governorship candidate however enjoined PDP members in the state to come together regardless of groups which had existed within the party, stressing that there wasn’t a victor or vanquished as the judgement was a victory for all.

“The judgement of the Court of Appeal in Ibadan is a victory for all PDP members in the state regardless of which group you belong.
We hold the judiciary in high esteem, as it has always been the last hope of the common man.

There is no victor or vanquished. We enjoined all PDP members in the state to come together with us so that all our candidates in the next general election, right from our Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to the Ward Councilors become victorious.”
