In a heartwarming display of community support and compassion, the OSA Movement, a prominent socio-economic and political initiative in Ogun State, has sponsored the cataract surgery of Elder Unity Akinde, Chairman of the Elders’ Forum in Ado-Odo Ward 2, Ado-Odo Ota Local Government.

Elder Akinde, who had been struggling with financial constraints that prevented him from undergoing the necessary surgical procedure, received a lifeline from the OSA Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the OSA Movement. Upon learning of his plight, selected stakeholders from the foundation visited Elder Akinde and took full responsibility for covering the costs of his surgery, medications, and transportation.

The intervention by the OSA Foundation has not only alleviated the financial burden on Elder Akinde but has also given him hope for a brighter future. During the visit, representatives of the OSA Movement reaffirmed their commitment to the well-being of all indigenes and residents of Ogun State, emphasizing that their mission goes beyond politics to touch the lives of those in need.

Expressing his gratitude, Elder Akinde shared his relief and optimism for a successful surgery. “I am overwhelmed by the kindness and support shown to me by the OSA Foundation. This gesture has restored my faith in the power of community and compassion,” he said.

The OSA Movement’s initiative underscores its dedication to fostering social and economic development across Ogun State. By addressing critical needs such as healthcare access, the movement continues to demonstrate that collective action and empathy are essential for building a thriving and inclusive society.

This act of generosity is a testament to the OSA Movement’s unwavering commitment to uplifting communities and improving the quality of life for all residents of Ogun State.
