The Executive Chairman of Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Adesina ‘Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA, is scheduled to commission the newly renovated and refurbished Legislative Chamber on Wednesday, April 9th. The event will also feature the formal presentation of the year 2025 Proposed Budget to the Legislative Council.
The commissioning and budget presentation are set to take place at the Local Government Secretariat in Owode-Egba, commencing at 10:00 am.
According to a statement released by the Director of Information for Obafemi Owode Local Government (OOLG), Prince Segun Soneye, the day’s agenda also includes the inspection of several ongoing projects within the local government area. These projects include the inspection of two blocks of ten classrooms at Maba, the inspection of a police station under construction at Orile Imo, and the inspection of the re-asphalted Ogidan/Local Government Secretariat road (phase 1) project.
The statement urged all invited guests to be seated at the Legislative Chamber before the program’s commencement.
This event highlights the commitment of Amb. Ogunsola’s administration to improving infrastructure and outlining its fiscal plans for the upcoming year.
