Explosions from dynamites rocked parts of Port Harcourt, Rivers state, amid the governorship primaries in the state.
The first one went off around 11am at a distant location while the second one was at Garrison junction, just close to the secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The suspected thugs that dropped the second dynamite were being conveyed in a Toyota Camry and immediately sped off after the act.
No casualty or injury was sustained in the incident but there is currently palpable tension in the area.
Security operatives stationed at the APC secretariat had immediately rushed to the spot but the thugs already sped off.
