– A significant Skill Acquisition and Certification Programme was held on Monday, September 1st, 2025, at the IPLG Primary School in Oju-Iroko, Idiroko. The event provided residents of Ipokia Local Government with a valuable opportunity to acquire hands-on vocational training and empowerment.
Organised by the Office of the Personal Assistant to the President on Special Duties, Hon. Alhaji Kamorudeen Olawale Yusuf, the programme offered extensive practical sessions in various trades. Participants received training in adire (tie & dye), liquid soap production, hairdressing, screen printing, hair cream production, leather works, pastries, and other valuable skills aimed at enhancing self-reliance and economic empowerment.
The Executive Chairman of Ipokia Local Government, Hon. Johnson Akohomeh Avoseh, paid a working visit to the training venue in the company of the Vice Chairman, Hon. Mrs. Olufunmilayo Okewole. The leadership tour included various training sessions, where they encouraged the participants and applauded their dedication to acquiring productive new skills.
This impactful initiative aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the development-focused leadership of His Excellency, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun CON, Governor of Ogun State.
