Ipokia – The Executive Chairman of Ipokia Local Government, Hon. Johnson Akohomeh Avoseh, popularly known as *Cornerstone*, has sworn in newly appointed Supervisors and Special Advisers, charging them to bring their expertise and dedication to their roles in serving the people of Ipokia Local Government and Ogun State.
The swearing-in ceremony, held today at the Local Government Secretariat, marked a significant step in strengthening governance and grassroots development in the area. Hon. Avoseh emphasized that the appointments were based on the appointees’ proven track records of service and loyalty, urging them to uphold honesty, diligence, and sincerity in their duties.
In his address, Hon. Avoseh expressed gratitude to the Ogun State Governor, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, for his transformative leadership and commitment to the “Building Our Future Together” mantra. He also acknowledged the support of political leaders and legislators in ensuring a seamless selection and screening process for the appointees.
The Council Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to delivering democratic dividends to the people of Ipokia, calling for continued collaboration with political stakeholders, particularly the legislators. He congratulated the new appointees and encouraged them to seize the opportunity to serve with excellence.
Hon. Hunye Abayomi Semako, Special Adviser to the Ogun State Governor and Managing Director of Ogun Waste Management Authority (OGWAMA), commended the successful inauguration. He conveyed Governor Abiodun’s greetings and praised Hon. Avoseh’s leadership, urging the people of Ipokia to support the administration for continued progress and peace.
Similarly, Otunba Hon. Bisi Oyedele, Member of the Ogun State House of Assembly representing Idiroko/Ipokia Constituency and Chairman of the Committee on Industry, Trade, and Investment, lauded the Governor and Hon. Avoseh for the appointments. He urged the new officials to remain diligent and committed to their responsibilities, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the trust placed in them.
