The Ogun State House of Assembly has screened nominees for various statutory commissions, charging them to develop strategies that will enhance service delivery in the state’s public service.

The screening, presided over by Speaker Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide at the Assembly Complex in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, covered nominees for the House of Assembly Service Commission, Local Government Service Commission, Teaching Service Commission, and Judicial Service Commission.

Elemide emphasized the need for the nominees to leverage their wealth of experience to drive the vision of their respective commissions once cleared and inaugurated by Governor Dapo Abiodun. He urged them to align their duties with the ISEYA mantra of the current administration while fostering synergy between the commissions and the legislature.

The Speaker also commended Governor Abiodun for nominating seasoned individuals, including former lawmakers and experienced professionals from both public and private sectors.

In their responses, the nominees assured the Assembly of their commitment to discharging their duties with integrity, loyalty, and sincerity of purpose.

The nominees include:

– Local Government Service Commission: Olubukunola Olivia Onabanjo (Chairman), with Hon. Lukman Olufemi Adiro, Martins Adekoyejo Ijaduoye, Olatunde Azeez Abiodun Osunbiyi, and Olatunde Rasaki Rufai as members.

– Teaching Service Commission: Apostle Abiodun Sanyaolu (Chairman), with Olanrewaju Majekodunmi, Deola Akintonde, Hon. Adeleke Salmon (Sonto), Hon. (Mrs.) Atinuke Bello, and Hon. Kemi Oduwole as members.
